Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique keycase to commemorate the brand's centennial. It is made of Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a flying "B" paperweight, keys, and an original 1930s booklet that features never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

Design
Bentley is known as a luxury car maker that makes ostentatious and luxurious cars. However, even keys stand out. The Bentayga key is made from sterling silver. Bentley Mulliner reinvented and designed the Mulsanne to become the ultimate Grand Touring vehicle. The bespoke heating and ventilation system as well as the air conditioning system was designed to give each passenger the ideal temperature control.
The Mulsanne is equipped with twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine that puts out 560bhp as well as 479lb-ft torque. This incredible power is complemented by a new suspension system that gives Bentley's famously smooth ride.
Bentley has launched a new specification for cars built after the year 2019 to commemorate its centenary. It is known as the Centenary Specification. The cabin features cross-stitching and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests seats, the interior and other areas of the car. This is a great way to celebrate the occasion. Function
The Bentley Mulsanne Key features two buttons one of which opens the trunk, and the second that is used to start the vehicle. It also has a button to activate the parking break. There is a knob that can fold and unfold the mirrors when parking in tight spaces. This feature helps you get in and out of your car.
The key is made of vegetable tanned leather and takes more than two days to create each one. It is cut by hand and shaped, then sewn, sealed and polished to give an extremely high-end finish. It is sturdy, compact, and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is reminiscent of the Volkswagen Phaeton's large car key, but feels heavier and more premium.
Secure-A-Key is also available to prevent keyless entry theft. This device is placed inside the remote-control fob, and it shuts it down when the key isn't used for a few minutes. It stops thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices which can be used to open and start the car.

Personalisation
Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to essentially design their own vehicle. The "mood station" lets guests pick images that inspire them. They can range from picturesque vistas to sporting events. Each time a selection is made, a pattern emerges and reveals the models and colors of the personalized Bentley.
The configuration that is created is then loaded onto individual R.F.I.D.-enabled keys which are presented to the guests in a handmade key case. The keys can be fitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised welcome lamps that illuminate the pathway of the entrance door, and display the owner's name or logo as they approach the car.
Bentley estimates that it takes around 500 man-hours to construct and assemble a Mulsanne. The key to this time-consuming effort is a conscious refusal to embrace the latest technology. Instead of employing a machine for spacers to the perfectly matched leather seats, workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. Instead of using the car's built-in sensors guide it to parallel and perpendicular parking spots drivers must perform the task by hand.

Bentley showcased its Mulliner personalization capabilities in a unique Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays tribute to William Osler, the founder of Bentley. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays homage to the man who founded the company, William Osler Bentley. The 100 limited-edition cars include one key that features a portion of the 1930 8 Litre's crankshaft.
